Challenging the Myths that Limit Runners.

Free to members of the Wellness Program is a one-hour class in September taught by physical therapist Douglas Wisoff--himself an ultrarunner--about ways of moving past a number of stumbling blocks we all encounter in our running practices.

I've taken a class from Douglas and found him to be a fun and inspired teacher who makes every effort to be specific and focused in the suggestions he makes, very attuned to the exact needs of the person he's speaking to. If you've worked with Douglas before, you might want to add some Comments to this Journal entry.

This would be a well-spent hour for those who have built a bit of running base and want to keep moving forward.

Check the Fall Catalog for Boulder Parks & Recreation.

For some reason I can't figure out at the moment, I'm unable to link to the pdf file of the catalog. On the P&R webpage page, find the window for Download a section and select Fitness.

You may well see some other classes that strike your fancy.

I don't mean to be a cheerleader about this, but ain't it great to be in a community that supports running? If you've ever lived in a community without that support, you know what I mean.
