Boulder Backroads Half Marathon, part I.

This one will be worth several journal entries.

The overview:
  • a successful run following a good strategy
  • under near-ideal weather conditions
  • across a course of pastoral beauty
  • in a poorly organized event.
The time I've spent in preparation paid off in modest gains, revealing reserves of strength I was surprised to find I had, with no hint of tendonitis.

Thanks, team.

I'm immersed in another time-consuming demand at the moment and haven't had time to write down my thoughts, though I've got plenty to write down.

Soon.
